St. Mary’s Art Center, fondly called the SMACenter, is ready to party! You can stay two nights free in this unique getaways at this newly redecorated historic landmark located on five acres at the edge of historic Virginia City.

Just create your own party to celebrate anything.  Find five friends who wish to celebrate with you by spending two nights mid-week with you. 

Groups are welcome to organize their own activities; painting, writing, quilting, photography, storytelling, dancing, or just plain relaxing or getting down to serious business with a work session in one of the many meeting areas.  The center has three studios, fifteen sleeping rooms (30 beds), 5 ½ bathrooms, a lounge, plenty of nooks and crannies,  four art galleries, a dining room and two kitchens which makes it easy for the group to prepare their own meals or  arrange for our catering package.
People can curl up in a sun spot, play the piano, sketch, write in their journal, visit our historical venues or take a well marked hiking trail, which begins at the end of the road and curls around the hills outside of Virginia City.

The building may be historic but there is unlimited hot water in the building, plenty of heat and high speed wireless throughout the building for keeping in contact with friends or conducting real work. The building is perfect for a group of friends, family reunions, art retreats, church groups, wedding parties, even business meetings.
